Our History

How we got here

The Glebe Reggio Centre was founded by Neil and Terri-Ann Priel in 2004 and opened its doors in September 2005. It was inspired by their second child who has a delightful uniqueness and passion for music.

The school is committed to providing the best quality early childhood education for all children. The driving philosophy is the Reggio Approach which recognizes the desires and talents of each individual child. This philosophy is embraced because it is so worth it.

Our goal is to provide a positive and rewarding experience for the children, parents and staff while helping each child realize his/her full potential.

Since our start we have inspired many parents, teachers, home daycare providers and preschools to take a look at this approach.

We remain proudly, the first and most established Reggio inspired Centre in Ottawa.
