Admissions

Registration/Waiting list details

Registration takes place in February and March each year. Spaces are confirmed on a first come first serve basis. Priority is given to families: (a) at the top of the list (b) who are in urgent need as and (c) who have been referred. We encourage you to add your name to the waiting list at any time.

Process
Once a space becomes available, families are contacted based on position in the waiting list. Each family is invited for one tour followed by an interview with the new student. Once a space is offered, a deposit is required to secure that space. The Centre is not able to hold a space for any family except where the deposit has been made. This deposit is applied against the annual tuition. Families then receive a registration package which must be completed with all the required documents by the indicated deadline. Once this has been returned, the family then receives a Confirmation of Enrolment by mail.

Tips for securing childcare that's right for you:

  • Early research into available childcare is key. Know your options
  • Visit several schools/daycares so that you will be confident in your decision
  • Consider the strengths of each Centre, closely reviewing the program to see whether this is a good fit for your child and the family
  • Be ready for your tour and interview - make a brief list of priorities (wish list) for your child's daycare eg. Program (class size, language teaching, teacher qualification, parent communication tools, meals) convenience (before/after care, bus pick up/drop off), proximity, cleanliness, environment, price, outdoor space etc.
  • Consult with currently enrolled families to get information and feedback to understand the school culture
  • Make up your own mind. While recommendations by your friendly neighbour can sometimes be useful, YOU know your child and your needs best

Parent and Employee Feedback
We get great feedback from those we partner with; parents, teachers and our students. We only have space for a couple but we hope you take the time to read them. You may also speak with currently enrolled parents at any time.

The school today has been shaped in large part by the needs of our parents and by the feedback and suggestions that they have given over the years. Because parents participate in our school and share our vision for the children they genuinely feel like a part of the school. It is no wonder therefore that when Parent Feedback Survey sheets are returned they are so positive.

98% of parents rate us between good and excellent.
